Light Hearted Thread - best place for your money?

I remember the days when this forum was more concerned with best rates, best customer service, share your problems/experiences with IC*C* etc.
All got a bit morose with the currrent goings on.
So, if you don't want to put your money in a bank, you think the stock market ain't a smart bet, and even gold will go into meltdown (due to global warming, obviously), what are your suggestions as to where to put your 'money'?
Personally, I view putting it under the mattress as a little too obvious for the oik who breaks into my house; Zimbawbean $ are interesting, but only from a spread bet point of view, and a secret hole in the ground would be fine except I don't have a garden.
A (virtual) pint or glass of wine for the best suggestion.

Property, of course. :j Can't go wrong with bricks and mortar. People will always need somewhere to live, and they're not making any more land, you know

On balance I reckon I could probably cut my heating bills if I burnt £5 notes instead0

Buy Zimbawbean $ and a few tubs of wallpaper paste.
Glue the $ into brick sized lumps and when you have enough, glue those into a house shape. Gather up old beer and soft drink cans and hammer them flat to make shingles for the roof.
When your done, move in and sit back (a good idea to wait until the glue is completely dry here) and congratulate yourself that you have got all bets covered for the future (except for fire insurance of course).0 -
Put it on Chelsea to win the league. I dont think Arsenal are good enough and Man Utd are a bit behind and Liverpool do not have what it takes and you can rule the rest of the division out.Had £80,000 in Savings - All GONE!!! BYE BYE:A Single, 27, Aspie, Gooner :A0
