Well, pension statement is in....._pale_ Not too bad, -13.87% over the past 1/4 - however that's before taking the 1/4's contributions into account. I refuse to calculate that in .
Since I started the pension 2 years ago (prior to that it was in FP's control) I am 37% down on my investment.
This is good, I am getting more units for my money.

Have had a nice comp prize - Elizabeth Arden set, hopefully will sell it for around £20. Have also had email to say DVD on its' way so good end to the month, it should sell on Amazon for around £7.50 :j. All this is for NY - but as I've reached my spending money target from comps + some monthly savings I'm now paying myself back so it will end up in offset the day before I go to NY when I transfer all excess :T.
£23 mystery shopping money paid & transferred to offset.

It's going to remain a tough 18months for any of us with investments, and a difficult time to select the best option(s) for investing to get some growth too.0

Feb mortgage payments have gone out so have updated all spreadsheets, snowballs etc :j.
Total o/s debt on all 3 mortgages down £3,615.95 to £156,400.72
O/s debt on own house (subject of all challenges on here) down £3085.51 to £42,082.03.
Snowball now says Feb 19 if I pay what has been planned, including paying off car and with regular OP's factored in.
The important one is with an extra £500 a month (£250 each from OH & I). This is where mystery shopping, quidco etc goes. I want all paid off by end of Aug 16. Snowball says May 16 :T:j:beer: My interim challenge of paying off own mortgage by Aug 2011 is till around 11k short , but that is without the £500 factored in so if stay on course that will also be met, with time to spare :j.

:snow_grin evening all :snow_grin
:snow_laug Following on from today's rate cut ( :kisses2:thanks MPC members) I now have interest rates of 1.74 (own house) and 1.99 & 2.24 on BTL's. This gives a weighted average of 1.98% :snow_laug.
Have not updated spreadsheets as I am waiting for letters to come through (egg have not yet sent me through last cut although they implemented it on 1st Feb). Well chuffed though, I know the rates are not as low as some on here but I can live with them:T.
Stranded again today and looks like tomorrow also. Annoyed though as forecast was 'light snow' so thought I could get to meetings today & tomorrow - if 6" is light I hate to think what the heavy snow forecast for Sun/Mon will be like - may have to trade in car for one of these :rudolf:. Work are posting me out a load of stuff.
I have bread and milk but no biscuits (had a :EasterBunmoment earlier) and no red wine (supposed to be on wagon but am going stir crazy) so if anyone has contacts at Red Cross I'd be grateful. OH won't be here at the weekend, I've seen all the Place in the Suns and am reduced to watching Deal or No Deal (she settled for 19k, could have won 50k). I may be on here quite a bit so be warned.
Elsewhere, quidco money & MS money in so £71 to offset, however a spot of plastering done so £60 back out. Hopefully, if snow lets up Sat I'll have a tenant for empty property - 2 lost of people coming to see it, and another has already seen & likes it. The post Xmas split up period has started it appears.
Work being done on mum's house and hopefully will have that ready to let in next month or so :T, no extra money to the offset as I'm giving some to [STRIKE]leeches[/STRIKE] DD & DS and putting the rest in my own pocket - I've struggled to make regular OP's of £100 and £200 and £280 (car repayment) since Xmas so this will take the pressure off, clear overdraft & maybe even let me have a life.

You must have a better postal service than us then
Do take time to research some of the Bloomberg material (you can stream the broadcast on the PC - in Firefox use the IETab extension to make it work) and this has to be better than the programmes you referenced!0 -
So, work think the post will arrive but you can't get out....

I wish it had been 2 to 3 bottles last night - it might have stopped me going on Right Move & finding my dream house . I am now trying to forget it & pretend it was all a dream...... with a slight slip this morning when I accidentally phoned estate agents. Turns out there was an open day yesterday so I am sure it will be sold by end of week. I'll phone estate agents on Weds, if still available will view Thurs. It's all OH's fault for leaving me on my own.
Anyway, apart from that I have finally got a tenant for BTL, should be moving in approx 2 weeks. Also spent few hours round at mums cleaning all the kitchen, the insurance folks are stripping, repapering & painting the lounge & hall this week so I just need to arrange to get 2 floors tiled (I have the tiles), 2 carpets relaid & then all carpets cleaned so tenants in by Easter at earliest ([strike]unless I need to move in. No, I WON'T cos I'm not buying that other house. Stop it.[/strike] )
Sold 2 comp prizes & the iPod I got from Qype, £60 on its' way from paypal. Laptop bag had a starting price of £3.49 & no bids when I went out & sold for £19 so well chuffed. All packaged up & ready to send - however it's snowing here so may not get out tomorrow. Only an inch so far, here's hoping for no more.
