I'm finding that shopping online is working well for me at the mo, until the Mr T's is built in town. Our Aldi is small and we couldn't get everything there so it would involve more than one shopping trip.

I'm impressed with the market value veg, good quality despite the price.

:rotfl:Actually SMF, shoes are not my thing. But boots are :T. I was very sensible and chose 2 pairs but decided to sleep on it and see how I felt today. So, today I ordered 3 pairs :o. Oops. However, total cost was less than £120 and I can always send back. 2 knee length (black & burgundy) and burgundy ankle boots so I'm likely to send back 1 burgundy pair.... maybe

Still, am selling something on ebay and it has a bid for £4.99 so that's a start :rotfl:

I should note it is not wise for me to be let loose in the supermarket as I am prone to spotting too many "great items we haven't had for a while"..... that said, bought some excellent Lincolnshire Poacher aged cheese at the Farmers' Market which was on last Saturday (only 5 in the year it is on, rest of the time it's a Friday). Just love those really strong, aged cheeses :D

It's a man thing I think - my shopping bill without MrEH with me is always much smaller than if he comes along!

Agree with you about the cheese thing too - one of the stalls at our local FM does a wonderful mature goat cheese (often sold under the name "Old Goat!") - Yum!

Wow:happyhear  you are such a tease setmefree.

Your boots sound lurvly gallygirl - perhaps you could post pics of them when they arrive so that I may drool over them too? :D

:rotfl: I admit it took me a second to 'get it' Stuart and now I'm grinning at my stupidity :rotfl:

I really have to pop into Lidl if the food is that good gallygirl, your freezer must be full to the brim.

Are you all sorted for Christmas already or are you like me and doing it all this weekend?

Stuart has a dreadful mind, which is why we like him :D .

My freezer is fuller but, with the exception of the stuff bought last weekend, it is full of food but nothing to eat, IYKWIM  . I think all the healthy, nutritious things I put in there turn into 1/2 loaves of bread & packs of garlic bread as that is all that I ever seem to find in there :o . Oh, plus random peas etc, making a bid for freedom ;).

Xmas shopping is sort of done, still got kids (21 & 23!) stockings to do, but DS has nothing at all - am prepared to give him money but he must come up with SOMETHING! Also need to get 2nd pressie for OH. Won't be able to do Sat as helping DD move but might get some bits & pieces Sunday. However, that is the day I have set aside to put up tree & write cards - I force myself to do them once tree is up & am determined to do it early enough to post 2nd class, as opposed to other years when I buy 2nd class stamps then don't write in time so have to post 1st class and am then still using Xmas stamps in the summer :rotfl: . Good luck to you hitting the shops this weekend
