Bricking up small window?

Hi,
I would like to brick up a small window in my kitchen as I'd like to put units on the wall in its place.
It is very small - 40cm wide x 75 cm high (approx).
It's a Victorian house so the walls are two brick thickness.
Please does anyone know roughly what I should expect to pay for this work to be done?
It wouldn't necessarily need to be plastered on the inside - as I'm putting a unit over the top I could have a go at this myself as it wouldn't matter how "messy" it looked...
Many thanks in advance.
