Travelling in the USA - making/receiving calls to the UK from a mobile?

Actually, I apologise to benjus - got confused - http://www.nonoh.net/en/calling-rates.html#letu would be a cheaper option for VOIP account as the VOIP call to a UK landline would be FREE rather than 0.5 cents a minute with http://www.dialnow.com/en/calling-rates.html - additionally could use http://www.12voip.com/en/calling-rates.html#letu as many UK residents already use their service.

Good advice markymoo - I guess everyone signs up to Skype because they're well known and then finds out that there are better VOIP options.

Are you actually saying in your last post that it will only cost me 10c a minute to receive calls from the UK rather than the international rate... wasn't sure how to interpret your post... sorry for being dense!

I'll also keep to your other advice when I search for the SIM on e-Bay.

yes.... the call to receive (afaik) is only 10¢ a minute, regardless where the call has come from...
