Please can anyone advise how much a single parent with 3 kids would normally be entitled to. I need advice for a friend who is suffering badly from depression. He has somehow ended up forty pounds a week worse off as the
childrens father has, after eight years, begun to pay maintenance.

Is the maintenance through the CSA? If it through the CSA and if the case has been ongoing for 8 years, then this would be the old rules and your friend wouldn't be entitled to any maintenance so therefore shouldn't be any worse off?0

I thought at the moment there was a £10 per week disregard, which increases to £20 per week in October? I had the options people ring me today advising me of that. She also said that soon the disregard would go much higher and eventually all maintenance would be disregarded.
Not much use to me as I am still not getting any!Tomorrow is always fresh, with no mistakes in it!0
