Picture hanging without putting holes in the wall?

Hi
I hope this is in the right place, if not please feel free to move!
This may seem like a really bizarre question to ask but does anyone know if you can actually hang pictures without putting holes in the wall?
We live in a fairly new house (which I think has a lot of stud walls).
The walls were all newly plastered and painted before we moved and don't have any holes already in them that we could utilise to hang some pictures. We will probably only be here for another 12 months and I don't want to go hammering nails in the walls.
I paid quite a bit of money for some photos of my children to be put on canvas and it seems a shame that these are now stored away as I'd really like to put them up.
I really haven't gone mad but I'm sure I have heard of nail less hangers and cannot think where (unless I was dreaming or something!!) or is there something that fixes from floor to ceiling that you can somehow attach pictures to?
Hope someone can help... I haven't a clue where to start looking for ideas!
