In MS Word 2002, is there any way each time you start the programme to make Word show only your chosen toolbars? I've tried Googling for an answer but no luck so far.

You should be able to open Word, set everything up as you like (but not type in the actual document area), then quit, changes will be made to your preferences and the Normal.dot template.0

Hi,
if you click the wee down arrow at extreme right hand side of toolbar, it will give you

Yes of course that's correct.
Most non-techies refer to is as Word XP, and most techies called it v10.0 -
Please be kind to me as I'm not a techie, just self taught in IT. I have a Word/email question which I can't find the answer to on Help so I thought I'd ask you people who are discussing Word.
I want to send a Word document as an email but I don't want it as an attachment. I want it so that as you open the email you get the document straight on the screen. It's like a letter with a coloured banner at the top and a photo. Anyone know how to do it?0
