I would try a dehumidifier if you can borrow one. Failing that a heater giving gentle heat rather than blasting it :)

No probs, maybe I'll try this just this evening and lay the fibreglass tomorrow before it gets sub zero. Sound reasonable LC?

It sounds reasonable to me but then I'm no expert ;)

Thanks TM. Can't wait to actually see it. Although we went to the house on Sunday afternoon I still wasn't feeling too good, so didn't feel up to venturing upstairs without the bannisters... So haven't seen our new wardrobes yet. Might call in briefly this evening on way to counselling session, as I gather we have lights now! :D

How's TD doing? Did he manage to get into Bangor for his shopping?

Best wishes to you both from rather grim and grey Liverpool.

I hope you manage to get to the house tonight and see the new wardrobes.

TD is doing OK, having trouble with his throat and swallowing but he was warned about that. He was hoping to go to Llandudno (not Bangor) as he's in hospital at Bodelwyddan near Rhyl. The ladies he was planning to go with went on a short 10 minute taxi ride and it cost £6 each way so they abandoned plans for Llandudno as it's about 18 miles or so and would cost a fair bit. They both actually finished their treatment today and have gone home now. He said he will use his bus pass and go into Rhyl instead - not sure that's going to be very exciting though!

The rain has started here already, it went very dark and damp earlier on and we've got light rain at the moment. Not a good forecast now, rain tomorrow then snow Friday - brrrrrrrrr!

They look loads better, Maggie :D.

    Hope

(I mean the shower room tiles the way you wanted them. I didn't see the following posts :o).

The tiles look good and, as Sui says, will be even better when accessorised (love that word).

TM, thumbs up to TD :). Agree with you about the weather; dreading that it might snow heavily again :(.

    Hope

Well, I didn't get to the house last night, but OH went and took photos.

Here's looking into the shower room from the utility.

Here's the bathroom with stuff installed. The bath panel has just been delivered this morning.

the pipework for the shower room is in the kitchen. It'll be in the void behind the cabinets when they go in.

OH went to house yesterday afternoon, and found they'd tiled over the bit of roof to the front of the utility room. :j

In the living room they're fitting architrave and sill to bay window.

Today we're waiting for the gas fire to be delivered, and then OH will take it to the house (unless it's too heavy for him to get into the car) and we'll give builder another cheque.

Gorgeous sunny day here, but can see a sprinkle of snow on the hills in Wales. No snow here yet, couple of brief flurries yesterday, but didn't stick.
