Capital One employ this trick too and I've just been caught by it. Fortunately I did remember that the 0% was up in time to pay off the full amount immediately I remembered, only about 7 days late so £38 to pay. That is significantly less than the interest i have made on around £14k deposited for 6 months but its still a pain.

Agree with everyones postings- watch those 0% expiry dates like a hawk!!

The statement immediately before when full payment was due said estimated interest would be £nil if the minimum amount was paid.

The next statement when it was already too late to pay off the full amount still said estimated interest would be £nil if the minimum amount was paid.

And today the net statement has just arrived, with the £38 interest charge on it, still saying estimated interest would be £nil if the minimum amount was paid!!

Battle will commence with their call centre tomorrow- I fully expect them to refer to the reverse of the statement which says ""the interest will differ from the figure shown if a change is made to your interest rate before your next statement". That's a get out clause I suppose I could accept for the one statement where the rate did change but what about the other 2?! We shall see.
If only everything in life was dreadful!
