Kaupthing Edge - link 2 accounts to the same joint account?

Ok, it is not as complicated as it sounds. We have got an account with Kaupthing Edge in my name linked to our joint account. It has more than £35K and we would like to split the money as you cannot have a joint account with them.
The question is - can we open another Kaupthing Edge savings account in mu OH name and link to the same joint account? I was trying to find an answer on their website, but can't see it.
Has anyone done this?
