Hi Can anyone tell me has this pc
http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/offers/58_7349.htm
spec any weaknesses, I was going to buy a quad core (not sure if it would be worth the extra expense and would I really notice it? I have a lot of windows open always as I do quite a bit all at the same time) but this machine looks incredible value. Also I use two DVI monitors so unless you know a way I would need to cange the video card for a dual card or can you add another card? I have done some PC building in the past and reasably confident with anything like this.
I see the audio is onboard which does not bother me too much as sound wise I do very little as log as that would not be too crappy. Cant tell if the video card is seperate due to the way they list it but it does not say intigrated or onboard so I suppose it may be a seperate card. Also googled the video spec, where would you grade this video card, average really good or what, obviously it probably wont comapre with a £200 gamers video card etc, but what do you think?
Any comments appreciated.

a few members of my gaming clan were discussing ALDI pre builds and the general thought was they seemed quite good.
A decent video card (such as a radion X1950 PCI-E) is only going to be about £100 . but the card seems OK anyway -
and a decent sound card - such as a Philips 5.1 is around £30 - 40.
The only things that I would worry about if using it for gaming is the case - i don't know how much cooling it will have 1 fan on the back may simply be not enough) - and I cant see where it states the power supply unit spec.
Something like this needs at least a 500W PSU. which arent too expensive to get and fit - if you go for it.Don't try to teach a pig to sing - it wastes your time and annoys the pig0 -
This machine is a quad core. They did this one previously and may still have one or two. Am I right in saying it is much better ?http://www.aldi.co.uk/uk/html/offers/2827_6766.htm
Only lesser thing I can see about it is that it is 500GB harddrive instead of 640Gb otherwise it has same video, cant tell anything about sound, but it has wireless.0 -

will just have to go through the spec and compare like for like - the only real diff I can see other than the hard drive capacity (which 500 GB or 640 GB - is quite a lot anyway - I run twin 200 GB drives). is the cpu spec - one has a slightly higher spec. so it may be this (and some case diferences) that you are paying for.Don't try to teach a pig to sing - it wastes your time and annoys the pig0
