LCD TV for £150-200

Need a new telly. We do not care about brands and our only requirement is that it is 22 to 26 inches. Currys have a couple for £149.99 anyone got any recommendations? Does not need to be HD and I have no doubt that anything would be better than our current Durabrand CRT monster!

Tesco have a Digihome 22" Widescreen HD ready set with Freeview for £179.95 ish.
Bought one myself some time ago, not too bad for the price.

Believe me you will care about brands when you get your £150 Hangwong home and fire it up to see a lovely washed out image, due to low contrast ratio, with the mother of all motion blur everytime anything moves.

Spec wise, don't go for anything below 2000:1 contrast ratio and ideally a sub 10ms panel response time.

So I take it that it is not thesame as buying a CRT then?

Would you not recommend buying an Asda one for example because of this?

Go and have a look at it in action and see if you like it. If you're only willing to spend £200 max, then it doesn't sound as though you're exactly an audio-visual aficionado.

I don't think the thought of owning a TV with a response time of more than 10ms is going to keep you awake at night.
