I have 50,000 in the Abbey (divorce settlement)
due to the financial crisis thats going on at the moment I'm wondering if I should move 20,000 to another bank. I am thinking of Alliance and Leicester, but are they separate to Abbey? I did look at the Nationwide but dont have a flexi account with them and that seems a requirement (esaver accounts)

A&L, like B&B, will be merged into AN. But that will take some time, so you might as well wait until it is about to happen.0
