Hi guys,
My PC seems to be running smoothly but my AVG scan has picked up the following:
TROJAN HORSE CONSTRUCTOR.CJA
It has shown 3 times in the following files:
C:\DELL\MEDIAEXE\ONDRVMED.BIN
then
C:\DELL\MEDIAEXE\ONDRVMED.BIN\Media\SUPPORT\TOOLS\SUPPORT.CAB
then
same as above but with :\bitsadmin.exe on the end
Can anyone tell me what these are & what I should do.
Thanks

Somebody else is reporting it on the AVG forums so it looks like Browntoa is correct:

What is the best way to deal with suspected FP's ? I see AVG has a procedure but there are a few negative responses to it0 -
Im not so sure of it being a 'false' positive. Its a 'back up' file which is what a lot of trojans like to 'stick to'.:idea:0

Yes got the same 3 Trojans !! running AVG and found on a scan and unable to put into the virus vault as to large .
Reluctant to do anything with it until it is confirmed that it is a false positive0 -
Dont panic
Just dont use Dells support for now until its determined whats going on.
In fact if you can. Run CCleaner
http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/
Goto TOOLS and START UP and see if you can disable it from running:idea:0 -
I too have the same 3 trojans and I cannot send them to the virus vault as the files are too large. Is it safe to use my pc or should I wait until they have been confirmed as false positives, if indeed they are? How can I make my pc safe? Last time I had to wait over a week for a reply from technical support.0

I ran AVG yesterday with the same consequence.
There doesn't seem much info on what this is!0 -
If theres 3 of you SUDDENLY have it ~ then its probably a false positive
OR
Someone somewhere is using dell computers to unleash his trojan!
Now I have a Dell ~ but its Vista, and that folder does NOT exist on mine.
Is everyone on XP?:idea:0 -
If you want to lock it
goto AVG
TOOLS
MAINTENANCE
VIRUS VAULT
and ramp up the vaults size:idea:0
