I bought a video from Ebay. I have just received it minus the leads
I have no idea where i can get them from or what ones to get. I need the plug lead and the lead for the aerial into the TV  Bah! I wish the seller had said there were no leads to it
MODEL:- NV-FJ630 any ideas?

Hi,
When you have confirmed what leads you need you might try Cable Universe, their prices are pretty good.
I'm assuming the power lead is a figure 8 type:

You need a male to female coax lead:

and probably a scart to scart:

Hope this helps you. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
I've been out and got a scart to scart 21 pin.
Your links don't tell me if they are compatable with the VCR..the numbers are as follows:
AC Mains
RJA0044-3C or VJA1022
RF Lead
VJA0963/VJA0728-A or KITWACC00001
These are the accessories for my type of VCR and panasonics prices

I think you will find that the mains lead is the correct one as it is a two core figure of 8 type.£2.87 against £4.84.
The male-female coax lead is also a standard fitting, so its 73p against £14.84.
These cables are generally standard for all types of VCR, if you have had a VCR before you will already have the right coax (RF) lead, and possibly the mains cord as well. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -

I already have a video plugged in my TV right now, so what you are saying is the Mains lead i've already got?
That means i only need the RF Lead, is that different to the aerial which is plugged in my TV to the outside aerial? :rolleyes:0 -
Sorry, I'd assumed that you had got an old VCR that this one was replacing, so you would have had the RF leads and or mains leads spare.
So to rewind (ha ha) you still need leads.
Your aerial should be plugged into the VCR RF in, then the VCR RF out connects to the TV with the lead you need to buy, as per previous post. That gum you like is coming back in style.0 -
The video i have plugged in now only has the scart lead connected to the TV. I cannot record from it, may be why i need the RF lead? oops am i a doughnut or what!
Well i've now bought a Panasonic VCR because i want Q-Link you see. So what you are saying is that as i already have the scart lead and mains lead on my old VCR all i need is the RF lead right?0
