Sorry to crash on this thread I just wanted to ask a very quick question to those in the know.
My oh is currently on £15k and I intend to give up work once the maternity period is up. He is due to take an exam this week for work which may result in a pay increase of up to £18kpa will this affect our entitlements THAT much?0 -

Yes it will affect your tax credits entitlement and as soon as he get the pay rise you should ring tax credits with an estimation of what he will be expected to earn, this will avoid an overpayment. Try your figures in www.entitled.com to get an estimated guide.
To the op you will not be entitled to wtc on your dh's income.0
