I love my Vanquis. It suits my purpose. Nuff said.
  • I've had my Vanquis card for nearly 3 years now, never had a problem as I pay it off every month. Also I've found the customer service fantastic.
Hopefully in November they will up my limit :D

They don't really have a timeframe and generally look at the account now and again. I went from £250 to £500 about 18 months ago but nothing since, which isn't really a problem but it will be nice to go £1000.

I have a Vanquis Visa and they are a no-frill's Credit Card, very good customer service (and english-speaking people based in England! Hoo rar :D ) what you see is what you get.
Since when has the world of computer software design been about what people want? This is a simple question of evolution. The day is quickly coming when every knee will bow down to a silicon fist, and you will all beg your binary gods for mercy.

My Vanquis limit was increased last statement from £250 to £500. I have had the card three month. I pay my balance off every month.

Sorry to bump this thread up again but i have a few q's about vanquis.

I have to book hotels for some of my work, and pay for them and claim back. I struggle with this as, due to my credit rating i don't have a credit card. With a vanquis card would i be able to pay onto my account by bank transfer or whatever the day my expenses were paid into my account, or do i have to pay the bill on a set date? if i can make the expenditure, claim the money back, and pay it onto the card it would be around a three week turnaround, and so i wouldn't incur any interest.

this is literally the only thing i need a credit card for, but it's driving me mad having to borrow my boyfriend's to book hotels for work. what do you guys think? or should i just steer clear?

just found the answer online, can make repayments by bank transfer at any time, or telephone banking. i'm thinking i'm going to go for it :)
