  • Well considering no decluttering had been done at 4.20pm you've typically done amazing...putting me to shame as usual.

Do you mind me asking do you still put the £50 per mth in your L&G? Not sure if to stop or not with all thats going on.

Yes, I am still putting my £50 a month into L&G, and signed OH up for one too......so he can get the cashback through quidco, and hopefully in a few years time, the markets will have recovered, and I will be able to withdraw a bit from L&G and put it towards the new house deposit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Have sorted through some clothes - have a smallish pile of things I would like to be able to get back into and have put them on a separate shelf. If I am not in them by Easter, they will go to someone who can get into them via a charity shop. There is another, larger, pile of things I am just fed up with, so can go straight to a charity shop, along with a few other bits and pieces that I found that can go. Amazingly, though, there doesn't seem to be any more space in the wardrobe - how can that be

Hiya Hypno - sounds like you've done well with decluttering today. I like the 10 a day during the week and 25 a day at weekends, infact, i'm going to start that too. Don't you do NLP....isn't this an NLP technique chunking or something. I might have made that up!!!! I'll be asking if you've done your ten tomorrow xx

Not sure about the decluttering being an NLP thing, although I do think that once I am decluttered I will feel much better in myself so therefore it is some sort of therapy!!!

I just want a simple life :rotfl:

Of course I don't mind! It works well for me - hope it does for you too. I get quite obsessed about colouring in my squares!

chunking is a psychology thing - something to do with breaking things into smaller chunks to aid memory. Great word, though!

I was wondering (briefly) whether to work out the square footage of my house........then devise a grid for each square foot, and then I can colour in a square for every square foot that gets cleared. Whaddya reckon
