    Hi Hypno

I've just been having a quick catch-up on reading your diary and what can I say, but WOW!!!

A half marathon (speaking as someone who can't currently climb the stairs without getting out of breath, I am seriously impressed!) and sub £40K!

    Well Done!! :T :T :T :T :T

    Thanks everyone!

Yes, 2009 IS going to be my year......now I seem to be on the right track as far as knocking the debt into shape is concerned, I am going to make 2009 the year I get my house sorted.

It is as big a challenge as the debt, so needs to be given the same "respect" that the debt has had from me over the last year or so. Of course the housework and general disorganisation is a huge part of this, but the job also has to include the outside - general sorting out of the front and back gardens, re-laying of shingle on the driveway where it is so old it has been worn away, new windows because they really won't last another winter etc etc etc.

    So, 2009 - I will:
    • Get my debt down to about £10k
    • Run the London Marathon and do me and my family proud
    • Sort my house out so that we enjoy our space, inside and out
    • Go on holiday
    • Learn to tap dance and play the ukelele:rotfl:
So which one is more likely.......sort my house out, or learn to tap dance and play the ukelele  :rotfl:

  • Well Done Hypno! - You really did manage to climb that mountain and now you are coming down the other side, and of course, as your debt gets smaller, shrinking it gets easier.
You have some great plans for 2009 and I think it is only right that you get your house sorted so you can enjoy living there
    Look forward to reading more

    Hi Hypno

If you want some ukulele playing tips I can get my OH to send you a few! (Mind you, you will probably have taught yourself before he gets round to doing it!)
