Morning all - Congratulations Hypno on all the good news!!! WOW !!!!

Haven;t got my Qype voucher and it doesn;t look as if I will, which is pain - just hope the NanoPod arrives.

DT - commiserations on trawling the motorways looking at Uni's. We've done that twice now (2006 with DS) and the last two months with DD. Which ones is he going for?

DD has finally sent her UCAS form off - after being hounded on all sides.

Right - am off to dentist today for rest of root canal treatment - had to postpone it twice cos of throat infections. Am also working all day so have to nipout for 2 hours to get to Dentist!!!

    Have a good one everyone

Morning, think I am feeling the vibes over here too. My wages are in, and Dad had transfered accross the CSA money that has been paid into my Mums account for me. So I have the rent for Monday, and about £700 for the rest of the month to pay all the rest of the bills etc.... So far anyway. I am so relieved. Want to jump for joy.
Mind you its just as well money went in, as I need to put more petrol in the car to take DS back to the Dentist in Oxford as the temp filling he had on Monday is giving him terrible tooth ache. He was crying all night with the pain. So I also didnt have much sleep.!!
Time to get on with making sure the Twins have fed the babies etc, they are running late today.
Hypno I think I will have to read the up the income board again, and again, and see if I can find that savings challenge, so I havent got the panic I had this week of thinking there wasnt any money in for the rent!!
When I die I will know that I have lived, loved, mattered and made a difference, even if in a small way.

We did Southampton and Bristol this week, should also have done Cardiff but clashed with Southampton so that has been postponed until Jan, York next week and Warwick in Feb. Took us 3 hours to get from Southampton to Bristol because of traffic and when we got to the travelodge from hell (it will be on qype soon!) nowhere decent to eat so ended up having to go into Bristol eventually got back to Travelodge at 10pm shattered. Still he has 4 offers so far just waiting to see whether York makes an offer. He would like to go to Southampton but he is going to have to work hard to get the grades. Thank God his sister is doing Art so needs to do a foundation course so Universities for her next year especially as at the moment Dundee is her favourite:eek:, It was always my fear one would be on the South Coast and one would be in Scotland and it looks like a distinct possibility.:rotfl: We are in North Wales.

I am just waiting for my last CC statement this week and then I will post the figures for the 30K challenge.

    Have a good day everyone

Hypno you are very welcome for the qype alert! So glad all three in your house got it, very well deserved. I think you and OH should split the duvert/ curtains from your money so you both get a good treat. I have just used it for 5 presents for OH and one for niece and still have £12 left so very happy!

One tip tho...when I selected my gift certificate as payment method it would not let me. On calling amazon they said you can only use it for items sold by amazon and not individual market place items. However...she told me to try paying for them seperately so...on seperating them into two orders and paying for amazon things in one order and marketplace items in another it let me use the voucher to pay for all no problem!

Congrats on credit score and egg...you have now made me want to check mine so im waiting on the free one. Have a great weekend!

Glad everyone seems to be recovering and that goodies are fluttering through letter boxes, (though not hypnos wine I trust). Hope the job comes up for you in 2 months or so walshy. Did you get the impression that you would have been offered the job if the credit crunch hadn't affected the Head Office in Canada? I mean were you the "successful candidate"?
