OH has gone and done my errand - he can combine it with errands of his own, so no need for him to really go out of his way.
I have things I can usefully do here instead so will do some work, armed with a cup of coffee or two - much better than heading back out in that horrid snow!

Hi surfbabe - are you recovered yet or do you still sound like Rod Stewart? I learned to drive in the winter, so got most of the bad weather training then. I don't like it, but I can do it reasonably confidently - there is no substitution for experience, and your DD will only get that by getting out there.

No don;t sound like Rod Stewart at moment although my voice does come and go !!! Have had to give up singing in a concert this year as don;t want to damage it any further and am waiting for ENT appointment. I've had another lot of antibiotics which fininshed non thursday and am actually feeling better.
Well DD has arrived safely - just have to wait for her to come home !!!!

Oooh, I have discovered dooyoo!! I have seen it mentioned on here loads of times but never looked - now I am reviewing again and have set myself a target of reaching the £50 cash payout level by Christmas.....
