Couldn't find the normal waving one as I so know that any Christmassy shouldn't be up until 1st December!

Just saying hi as I haven't been poking my nose around lately...

Kinda went through that self-pitying depression that consumes you and now due to the stress of debt and job hunting, I may have a stomach ulcer... :rotfl:

We'll see as it's only pain at the moment! A couple of ays relaxation and I'll be fine!

Job hunting has turned up a short term temp role doing internal recruitment for the NHS... Well one of the London trusts. I thought it would be a challenge... Boy was I RIGHT!!!

Note to self, and others who are reading this:

When they say people have been sacked due to a reorganisation, do not touch the job with a 50ft barge pole! It has been... Interesting!

Hope everyone is well... Better go trawl back through this posts now!
 Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!

Now it's all about finding a deposit for a house!

How do you amass £70k in a year?!

Walshy I hope the stomach settles soon. The job sounds.....urm....challenging!!

Well, I went for my ski, and it was really nice - it was a lovely evening and we could see all the fireworks going off around the city from the top of the slope. It cleared the cobwebs away, so well worth doing.

Only thing was, I used my egg card to buy dinner, it is hardly ever used, and due to my constant monitoring of my egg accounts online, I know the exact balances etc, and the b******ds declined my transaction!!!!!!!!

So I am waiting for them to come back to me with a reason why - I wouldn't put it past them just being bloody awkward after the last few days.

I have my run all plotted out for tomorrow morning - all I need now is the oomph to do it

bleeping indeed! Ah well, it all adds fuel to my complaint. My complaint is based on "treating the customer fairly" which is the latest FSA "thing". I certainly feel that Egg are falling someway short of this.

  • Yeah, we'll see! I'm just done with thinking I'm deserving of an HR job in Financial Services! I've take a massive dose of humble pie. Now I'm in it for the long term!

I just wish I could lift this mood. It's this constant feeling of anxiety over job hunting which is killing me (quite literally if things don't improve after Christmas! :rotfl: )

    Things will be fine!

I'm glad I didn't go with Egg! They would've knocked me for six! I hope that loan gets paid off far quicker than they like so more fool them! Glad to see the numbers going in the right direction too! I'll update mine at the end of the month! Got a massive debt paying off frenzy happening then, I can feel it! Will make things tighter for Christmas but better for 2009...

God two months to go and I'm banking on my luck changing! :j
