try various price comparison sites - kelkoo , pricerunner , froogle etc , ebay
you wil never find the cheapest price , but will find something that you are happy to pay for0 -
Aren't there MP3 players for around £50 that have the same features. Creative Labs or something?Happy chappy0

It's a referral scheme, which isn't allowed to be discussed on this site.
If you want a cheap iPod, try the Apple Refurb Store. The models they have in stock change daily.0 -
Dabs.com is selling the black 120Gb Classic for £164.91 http://www.dabs.com/productview.aspx?Quicklinx=58BG&CategorySelectedId=11212&NavigationKey=11212,50336. Terrific devices worth every penny IMO, but everyone has an opinion.
Try good Apple dealers like MacWarehouse, Cancom etc, then Apple's store and refurb store, and as mentioned earlier, price comparison sites such as Google Products Search
You do really need that amount of storage, because the brand new wafer thin Nano's are amazing at 8Gb and 16Gb, that's a lot of music storage.0 -
Buy an older generation. I bought a 2nd gen for my OH and she loves it. I have to say its pretty good but I wouldn't spend that kind of money on one for myself.0

I'd happily pay more for a DAP that met my requirements, but no iPod does. There's love in this world for everyone. Every rascal and son of a gun.
It's for the many and not the few. Be sure it's out there looking for you.
