Tax on savings

I have been on Income capacity for the last 4 years. I am now hopping to get a part time job. I will be filling the R85 form out, for my Tax on savings to be paid gross.
I have also been looking at the R40 form to claim back my saving tax for the last 4 years.
This form is very complicated, and i am not sure i understand it properly or the guidance notes. Would it be easier to do it up to the last tax year- April 2008 or todays date. As I don't know the tax I have been paid this year its hard to make an accurate calculation.
Thanks for any comments.
