Low on virtual memory???

Hi
Just turned on my acer aspire 3050 and it cam up it is low on virtual memory wndows I think??? anyway I dont understand why, I only use it for the internet not to store stuff, can anyone help, it also seems to be running real slow,

It's possible you are simply running out of storage space on your Hard Drive - that's what it uses for "virtual memory".
You need to have quite a bit of space on your HD to get the best performance as well - if I drop below 1 gigabyte then the effect becomes noticeable and that's even with 2GB of system RAM :cool:0 -

According to the OP:I only use it for the internet not to store stuff....
Nearly 35GB of Temp files would be quite an achievement. CCleaner would have quite a job.0 -

That would be quite an achievement - but the number of times I've helped friends out with virii on their pc's that never surf on !!!!!! sites.....;)
Sometimes, it does turn out to be the fault of one of their offsping of course....:A0
