OMG when DD typed that she spelled come with a u and without an e and it blocked it.

She has gone upstairs saying 'I don't know why it thinks I'm swearing'. She added that MSN also blocks it!

She's 12. Least said...

I know this is supoosed to be a cleaning up thread but it is also a mutually supportive thread - and in this day and age when we don't have the day to day contact with other people as we zip here there and everywhere in cars, families are smaller and scattered it is all so important to keep up that contact - I was so flattered to be asked for advice like an elderly wise woman...and I ask for it too when I need it - thanks for the recipes...

Seems to be getting much colder tonight. Just looked at forecast and it says -1 for tonight. Knew I should have put the winter quilt on.

DD reckons she and GS2 are coming to live here for the winter. Told her not to bother as heating will be only going on when necessary.

Have tidied around and just about to do a HHI.

toots Im with SS and everyone else. I havent seen anything that would cause offence. I enjoy reading your posts dont you dare not post.

SarahShattered Hope you find out whats wrong with your hip and its better soon.

Polka Hows it going with the hob. Sounds like you are doing a grand job of it.

Hob is almost done:j Thank you for all the ideas and the manual Lil_me. DF came home and took it apart...I was right.It was horrid,so he's ordered in some curry as a treat. Told me he really wants me to take a break now-that it's clear flylady has become a habit I want to keep and (now he knows its not a phase:rotfl: ) he will do his best to do more to help.

Dusty Thank you so much for considering this:) Not lots of people know about that:) But no need... Im on them as part of my chronic regime (one a day on good days whatever I need on bad-according to guidelines of course) but as such I get the coated ones. I think they're a higher schedule than the others and prescription only. I also only get two months at a time so I can go for monitoring.

Heating is only on boost for 1 hour to take the chill off not programmed to come on each day yet - the kids said 'great' when I put it on - everybody does have a t-shirt and a sweat on already.

DS2 at footie and as DS3 doesn't have reading books as his teacher is sick I am going to play one of his board games with him before bed.

Not been posting much - but have been flying....well...flapping a bit!

Since I got home from work I have:

Eaten roast chicken dinner leftovers from yesterday (yum)
Shiny sink-ed
Put load of washing on
Got the heavy throw out and put it on the bed (it was quite brrrr last night, and I'm resisting putting the heating on so currently wearing two layers of fleece, fluffy socks and slippers - tres chic!)

And now - I will....positively will do a HHC on the mountain of post that has accumulated. Where does it all come from? (Mind you, the :rudolf:catalogues have started to arrive so that accounts for some of it...)

All together now.....sort it, action it, file it or BIN it! :j

Edited to add - done it...all sorted. Paper recyling bin now groaning at the seams

Can I come and get toasty at your house dusty - I am trying not to put mine on until November - just wearing extra layers!!! I am dreading the cost of gas this winter. (Note to me - must pm greenbee)
