I took 'advantage' of this offer and have been hanging on exchanging usless emails with them. I am loathed to cancel just so when they do get them in they can give our copies to people paying £24.99.
Maybe I will send them an email threatening Watchdog!!!
I don't know how long we should hold out for??

They are "selling" this product via their website at £24.99 - not listed as "out of stock" or "delayed via supplier"...

I wonder if people purchasing it at this price are actually getting a copy? If so, this is very very very poor practise on their part (is it legal?).

I am being told that the product is "out of stock from their suppliers". This is ridiculous, the product was preordered and PAID FOR by me on the 30th September and was released on the 6th of October.

If this is all above board, CD WOW are risking angering their customers by sticking with suppliers who are four weeks behind in their delivery of this product (surely the product IS available from their suppliers, and if not - why not get it from somewhere else?).

This is a very current product and widely available everywhere. It is not the "Ark of the Covenant"...

It seems to me much more likely that CD WOW are stringing us along hoping that we all get our refunds and go elsewhere.

I'm not sure what to do about this. I'm almost tempted to buy it at full price and see if it turns up (if it wasn't for the fact I'd be giving them more money)...

Yes I got that email too. About flippin' time! I was getting worried I wouldn't be able to watch it before the new episodes start next year :rolleyes: I'm starting to wish I hadn't posted about this originally now, I'll be reluctant to use CD-Wow again.

I exchanged a number of e-mails with CDwow over about 8 weeks and like you guys (girls) I thought i was being strung along! Still think I was as they had it for sale on their site for £24.99 showing in stock as well as it being widely available everywhere!

I cancelled my order last week and told them that I would not be using them again and I received nothing.... Went and bought it elsewhere for 50 pence cheaper as it turned out (genuine version via Ebay), am currently through the second disc (first disc Razor which I have already) and have to say it's fantastic! Problem is, I will watch the third disc tonight and WANT MORE! :j

As to CDwow... They can get stuffed from now on... Never got an apology, sorry or even any e-mail thereafter the one cancelling! :mad:

The postman has just been and my box set has arrived :j , so they must have despatched it last week but only sent out the email yesterday. Hopefully everyone will be receiving theirs shortly.

We got ours this morning- must admit I thought it would never happen but I did manage to email a supervisor last week and he seemed to get things going and give the final date. We got a £1 CDWOW voucher as a good will gesture but I emailed them back saying it was more of an insult than anything, I will not be giving them anymore of my money!!!

Mine turned up today too, but I will NEVER use CD Wow again. Poor communication and way too slow to deliver.
