Yes, likewise. "Pending despatch" and that is why I e-mailed them as they are normally quock at despatching (been pending a few days).

The point I was trying to make is that it was only actually released 3 days ago, so they wouldn't be able to ship it until it was released. I'm not panicking yet! I've bought several special offer DVDs from them before (including BSG boxsets) and they've always arrived, they just seem to take a little longer but I don't mind that as the price is cheaper. If you look at their FAQ it also says orders to the UK can take 7-10 days to arrive after despatch.

(BTW, this thread should now be moved as it's back up to £24.99).

im waiting for the non play back version i.e region 1 version for the extras the us region 1 sets are better value.

They haven't actually got any to sell and they have no idea when they'll receive any. They'll simply done a very cheap price to get some cash in and hope that it will take some time before people get upset. They've done this on previous pre-release items that I've ordered.

I've cancelled my order - a cheap price is irrelevant if you have no stock. Note that their banner advertising talked about the price being "while stocks last". What stocks would those be exactly? They've also failed to update the website to show that they have no stock.

Misleading, dodgy operators - I'm avoiding in future

Whilst I do not mind waiting a little while longer, I am getting the feeling that these will not actually materialise?

I have ordered in the past from CDWow with no problems, slight delays, but this time I am getting a bad vibe!

I cancelled my cdwow order there crap!! I then went to blockbuster and rented it using my nectar points just saved myself £18!!

I have just re-e-mailed customer services and await their response. What is annoying is that they are now showing it as £24.99 and search engines show this in stock at that price!

Sawd it I thought, waited long enough, so another week or so is not going to hurt! Why should they get away with it if I cancelled and ordered elsewhere!

Pretty apalling service though! I think they have tried to delay supplying them cheaper as take-up was more than they would have realised!!!! (Just a theory).

Hi guys. I've been one of the folks awaiting CD WOW to fulfill this order.

I preordered this 8 weeks ago for the advertised special price and am still being messed about. I wondered if others are still in this position or did everybody just demand a refund in the end?

I'm really dissapointed with them as I could have preordered at other sites for a much cheaper price than the now universal £24.99.

CD WOW? The WOW must be for how truly appalling their policies are! :mad:
