Meter Cupboard Key

Anyone know where I can get a meter cupboard key from, any major retailers that sell them, I've tried B&Q they don't sell them

Powergen sent me one whan I moved house. Ring up your electricity supplier and ask them.

Hiya, if you call your gas/electricity supplier they'll send you one out for free... or they should do anyway

i found botle nose pliers did a great job till i got my new key from the supplier

Yes ask your supplier I did this year and got one. I did use some long nose pliers until it came though

I contacted the supplier, (N power I think) they said they don’t issue them anymore and to contact my local council, which I did, and they said they don’t do them.

It not for me, it’s for an 83 year old lady I look after, she’s not had her meter read since the year dot.

I got mine from an old fashioned hardware/ironmonger type store. There seems to be usually one in most towns. They were about £1.

If the neighbour's have the same cupboards, maybe one of them will lend you their key so that you can read the meter.

I'm sure that a work mate of mine bought one from B&Q not so long ago.
