Hi,
I would like to transfer my ICESAVE ISA to a NATWEST one to take advantages of higher rates.
I have not put any money in my ICESAVE ISA this year. I receive monthly interest.
are there any issues?? charges etc??
or once i fill in the form and deliver it to Natwest should the move be seemless within a month??
Thank you

Shouldn't be. Both Natwest and Icesave are fairly clean no-catches accounts as far as I'm seen.or once i fill in the form and deliver it to Natwest should the move be seemless within a month??
Well that depends on how awake Natwest are. I don't see any problems with transferring out of Icesave (generally have good customer service reputation). It remains to be seen how efficient Natwest are at transferring ISAs.0 -
Transferred my Icesave Cash ISA easily & with no charges earlier this year.0

great, thank you for your assistance0

i have noticed you have to state on the Natwest transfer form the date of transfer. It indicates that this must be after any required notice period for your existing ISA. Does anyone know if ICESAVE require a notice period??0
-
No, just put 'as soon as possible' - the date really only applies where you are transferring fixed term Cash ISAs or those for which notice is required.0

thank you, one final question.
After looking at other posts, the consensus is to use the ICESAVE standard account and sort code.
AC:80469947
Sort: 20-32-53
Is this still the case?? if so do they not need to know my personal account number (the one longer than the supplied box?), where does this need to go??
Thanks0 -
From memory, there is no sort code for the Icesave ISA & my personal account number was used BUT in a modified form, which I cannot recall - the transfer form was completed by a member of LTSB staff, who had to ring Icesave for the relevant information.0
