British gas

I am a British Gas customer and received a letter yesterday saying that my Gas prices were to be frozen fro three years but I would have to committ to them during that time. Anyone know if this is a wise idea just seems a bit too good to be true?

Are you a domestic or business customer?
what rate have they offered you ?

If it's the 2012 fix, please be aware that BG employee and MSE poster paulonline123 (IMO one of the much less indoctrinated BG employees on here) has called this plan cr*p (as have many of his work colleagues, according to his post recently).

yeah its not much good. If its the 2011 offer its bin withdrawn now, the 2012 offer isn't very good. I'd avise going with the E.On 2011 if your looking specifically for a fixed price deal (and i would reccomend doing so).
