windows experiance index needs to be refreshed

just got a second hand laptop with vista on but when trying to get performance info score it says new hardware detacted. the score dosn't come up saying to much interferance. when i try to refresh the index nohing seems to happen

It is something that takes a while to do - it doesn't just do it instantly the moment you click on it. At one point, it'll seem like the computer has frozen - leave it running as it's normal for it to do this.0
