LPG Gas Fire

Hi, I'm tyring to buy an LPG gas fire to work with a powerflue. I am being quoted extremely high prices due to the unusual nature of the fire and necessity for a powerflue. Do you know of a reasonably priced supplier?

I haven't ordered from this supplier so can't vouch for service, they have several LPG powerflue fires for ~£500 which is about the going rate, you can search by fuel type and flue type to get a list.

Have you considered a balance flue fire? If you can put up with the sheet of glass in front of the coals they have a few advantages - they're silent as there's no fan, no drafts when it's not running, they don't need an electricity supply and they tend to be more efficient - our previous powerflue fire was something like ~50%, our new balanced flue fire is ~75% so there's an on-going efficiency saving as well. Plus you don't have a fan and electronic controller to go wrong.
