Bleeding radiator problem...

We got ourselves a radiator key and it works well for every radiator except the one that hardly heats up, typical. It's just slightly too big for the radiator square knob so doesn't grip and turn, I guess the rad knob has been slightly worn down over the years of people trying to bleed it. Suggestions please !

  • Are you sure its not triangular might be a different rad,I assume its at the back otherwise you would just use pliers right? See if you can use a small socket set?

Try cutting a long thin strip of card and tucking the end into the key, so it's nice and tight on the fitting?

I have to bleed my bathroom radiator 2/3 times a month because of this it actually needs doing today, its more than worth a try before you pay a plumber to come in!
