The point is that the "Government" is already deep in debt to finance their current spending-their just isnt the money there to pay out everybody if several big banks went bust, neither is their ine the FSA.
Ive got savings, so i hope itll never happen, im sure Martin knows this but of course he cant forecast something thatll probably never happen.

I've just gotten a copy of the US Army Survival Manual.

It comes highly recommended. It details many survivalist techniques which will prove crucial in the months and years ahead.

It is amazing what we can eat.

Worms, for example, are an excellent source of protein. After capturing them, drop them into clean, potable water for a few minutes. The worms will naturally purge or wash themselves out, after which you can eat them raw.

Of course, if you have a large family to feed, then you will need hunting weapons. The manual has a section dedicated to improvised killing devices. It illustrates how you can construct a weighted club from a wooden branch and a stone.

Slingshots are also easy to fashion from household items. These are useful for bringing down squirrels and other small mammals for the cooking pot.
