Hi, probably cannot help, but here goes.
He might be genuine, and desperate. But if the item is not worth what he is offering you are right to be cautious. If it makes you feel more comfortable, tell him it is against policies/rules of Ebay or PayPal to post items to addresses other than those specified, and that you are sorry you cannot help - if he is genuine tell him you can post the item to him pretty quickly International signed for - with extra insurance - and he can then forward the item himself.
Otherwise take his money, demanding a payment method other than the chargeback-prone PayPal - but then you may be liable for Ebay chasing you, I don't know how they can get involved.
Basically it is not worth the hassle - too much money at risk. Unless you're feeling lucky!:wall:0 -
Took your advice. I dont want to go through the hassle of posting abroad to 3rd parties. Price seems too good to be true. Also wouldnt really be fair on current bidders.
+ Thanks to you Agutka

This situation sounds very familiar. Substitute Bulgaria with Nigeria and what would we all be saying?!!0

run a bloody mile!!!!!!!!!! anyone who needs something badly, also knows it's value.
sounds like a pure scammer to me............
also, NEVER post to a third party on eBay - esp. another country - I have had major probs with this in the past0 -
Couldn't we get him to pay by Western Union??Ha Haa It always works for the 419'ers.I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0

got a similar mail twice from two people who were in the usa and wanted me to post my not so great phone to their pastor in africa who wanted that particular model. as usual they were in a hurry and they wanted me to post it immediately for a higher price than that it was listed for. i told him to buy it through amazon and told him i would not post it to africa, did not hear again from them.
anything that sounds dodgy is dodgy0
