digital camera problem

I wonder if anyone can help.
I have a fuji E510 camera and i really like it but I have a bit of a problem. I have had it a couple of years with no problems. I used to download the pics and they all came out in the order they were taken. I have taken about 200 on my last 2 holidays and when I download and they are all muddled up! I don't know why this is happening and don't know how to fix it.
Any advice? Thanks in advance.

Your photos are only in the order in which Windows displays them.
Go to the folder containing the photos, and go to view and then arrange icons by.0 -
Thanks - I tried that changing it to "picture taken on" but it still does not put them in the order they were taken. it used to work no problem and it made it so easy to delete duplicates etc.I used to have a life............................... before MSE!!0
