Problem after putting in new RAM

Hi, I inserted an additional stick of RAM recently in my PC. However, on starting the computer, the following message comes up "CPU Fan Failed. Press F2 to continue to boot. Otherwise, the system will power down in five seconds. Have system serviced immediately."
I then press F2 on and off several times and the computer goes on to work as normal. It's an inconvenience I can probably live with if I have to do this everytime but I am worried I should be doing something to address the message. Can someone tell me what's wrong and what to do? I went into BIOS and the computer has recognised the new memory correctly. The computer is working as normal except for that annoying message when I start up.

may seem obvious, but have you checked the connections to the CPU fan? you may have dislodged one while adding the RAM. At the very least, take off the side and check that the CPU fan is spinningUtinam logica falsa tuam philosophiam totam suffodiant.0

Maybe you accidentally knocked the CPU fan and unplugged it? Or maybe it's a coincidence and it decided to jam up with dust at the same time you upgraded the RAM.
Either way, open the case while the machine is on and check that the CPU fan is spinning. If not, check the cable and check for dust!Russia is HERE0
