I do hope that the art of computing has not made the art of HANDWRITING obsolete.
PS Don't forget to put a stamp on the envelope!0 -
homersimpson; it won't do any good writing to them complaining about the charges. Especially not by email.
You need to write to them telling them that you are going to take it to court to recover charges if they don't send them back to you within 7 days. (it's very cheap to take them to the small claim court)
Then when they don't send them back - which they won't - actually start proceedings against them quoting punitive charges vs. Liquidated damages.
They won't ever want it to go to court as to do so would risk losing ALL of the charges forever more. If it does, then you will win and get the money back anyway - so very little to lose.0 -

Dear dchurch,
Please can you check your PM's0 -
Hi HGLSuperstar, I did reply to your PM's over the weekend; have you not got them?
In essence, I would suggest "No" to the extension, and "Yes" to the offer. To continue (over the OD) now would be a different case - and one in which the crux would be a miss-selling of a product - in my opinion.0 -
I would strongly advise not to e-mail your bank.
You would need to put your account details in.
Never disclose bank details in an e-mail as it will go around the world unsecurely before ending up at the Halifax.
I doubt they would action the request from an e-mail either.
Telephone, pen and paper, face to face or online banking secure messaging are the ways to communicate.
