Hi all!
Just wondering if anyone has had any experience with:
https://www.utilitywarehouse.co.uk
Im currently paying £24.99 a month for my NFL broadband and 30 odd quid a month for my homephone with BT, so I've been looking at the Utility Warehouse to merge the two plus maybe my gas and electric to see if I can save a few bob.
I would to the £30 a month for TV, phone and BB with NTL but I dont want their TV.
Thanks
Andy

A search shows there are a number of threads on Utility Warehouse. There's a fair bit of reading there.
Why is it you want to 'merge' these utilities? IMHO, that rarely results in the most economical solution.Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.0 -

I've updated my earlier post to include a link to the search results I found.
Martin's 'opinion' of Utility Warehouse (also know as Telecom Plus) is included in THIS article.
In particular, that article includes his brief and to the point opinion of their home phones service:Telecom Plus’s home phone service especially should be avoided as it is uncompetitive (see Cheapest Home Phones).Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. did you use capital letter when searching? As the search doesn't like capitals try again with lower case and it should work

At the present time i am with Homecall  . My calls are CPS to them.Line rental with BT.I only make calls at weekends or evenings.
I have just spoken to a Telecom Plus sales lady who has tried to convince me to move my line rental to them. She claimed they have been voted the best landline and calls provider. She suggested i took their line rental at approx £10 a month, and their free Evening and Weekend Calls Package at £5 a month. Is this deal as good as she makes it out to be.Does anyone else use them.
She tried to sell me energy as well but her rates were not as good as the existing ones i have.

Telecom+ also comes under the name of Utility Warehouse and I will merge your thread with a recent one which gives some previous threads regarding Telecom+.

They've been "voted the best landline and calls provider" have they? By whom? Their own (commission-earning) sales people?
'Free' evening and weekend calls for £5 per month!
Wow!
I wonder how many people are fooled by that (there are at least 2 CPS providers offering free evening and weekend UK 01/02 calls for NOTHING).
