ID for first JSA appointment

On my telephone call to apply for JSA, I was told to take in some ID when I go for the interview at the job centre. I asked if I could take in my provisional licence and she seemed unsure. Is the prov' licence acceptable?
I have no passport, so I'm really banking on the prov' licence. If not, what else could I use?
Also, I asked if I could attend a different job centre than my local one, amd sge arranged for me to go to a different one. Will I be expected to attend the same job centre every week?

The provisional licence is a dodgy ground due to older styles not having photo on them. More places are accepting them now as ID though. I know my local JCP and post offices do. Just ring and ask.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

If it's a photo licence, I can't see why not. Best thing to do is to ask them what's acceptable.0
