i recently had to have my computer re formatted but the windows auth code wont go in so i cant use word etc any ideas .

What do you mean by won't go in? Is it refusing to activate? If so then just go through the activation procedure and phone Microsoft."She is quite the oddball. Did you notice how she didn't even get excited when she saw this original ZX-81?"

Windows XP has a different code to Word.
Microsoft Word is part of microsoft office - and is a different software package to the operating system -Don't try to teach a pig to sing - it wastes your time and annoys the pig0
