What to do with my money ?????

We have just sold our house and will be moving next week. We have made quite a large amount of money on the sale and I would like to split the money up and put it in savings accounts. ( £30,000 in each )Has anyone any ideas about what bank/building societies to go with ? A few weeks ago I read on this site that Bradford & Bingley were a good B/S to go with as they were giving a good interest rate on savings, now I've read that they may have problems......
