Help required with word perfect x3

This is the what was installed on my pc (vista) when i purchased it over a year ago. The kids moaned they only used power point at school and couldn't understand the word programme so i got a friend to install the power point for them. This was working fine until i opened one of my saved documents (xmas list in word perfect) to add items to it and now the writing on the screen is so small i cant read it. I am a complete techno phobe and am literally learning as i go along. But i have played around with word perfect this morning to resize the document to no avail, can anyone help please?

It is ok now i have done it i had to go into the programe rather than through existing document and change the format it opened with, needed legal mode not whatever kids had selected.

I have had the same problem with Wordperfect on and off. When I printed it off, it was fine - but I couldn't view it properly (very tiny words). I found that by double clicking on the words, they somehow turned the right size again. The problem comes and goes, but is never on the printed version.
