You are the first person on this board who has ever praised Hazel Blears.

PS how did I praise her? Did I single her out if so could you post a link as I can't remember doing so?

    How bad things must be.

Worst economic conditions for 60 years Darling admitted.

    Brace yourself for the fall.

Can't believe that in his interview yesterday, after the vote down of the US Bailout, Gordon said, in an interview lasting 1:31 seconds...

    "decisive" 5 times
    "stability" 6 times
    "system" 6 times

    Yep. Tony stuffed Gordon Brown.....twice!
RENTING? Have you checked to see that your landlord has permission from their mortgage lender to rent the property? If not, you could be thrown out with very little notice.

I remember watching that interview and I genuinely thought it was on a loop,
he repeated whole phrases to different questions, it was shockingly bad.
I’m going to have another look, to have a laugh :rotfl:
Control is an illusion, chaos is the reality. A successful warrior dances with chaos, and success means simply that one is still alive.

Agreed - he just kept repeating the same 'answer' to every question, over and over again.

That was actually one of the scariest things I saw on the news yesterday evening, it was pretty obvious he hadn't got any sort of a handle on the situation.

Every pound less borrowed (to buy a house) is more than two pounds less to repay and more than three pounds less to earn, over the course of a typical mortgage.

Oh yeah, the second-scariest thing was the Will Hutton interview on C4 news.

He looked like a rabbit in the headlights. Seemed to be almost breathless with panic and was rambling incoherently.

I wonder is he ill or something? I've seen him interviewed in the past and he was very clam, collected and composed with solid, articulate speaking.

Definitely the sort of thing that puts the wind up you.
