what is the make and model of said keyboard and mouse?0
-
I remember the OP saying they were Logitech back in post #1
Yes I was right copied here >PS they are made by logitech, and they worked fine for her...
How many USB slots do you have? Have you used them all up with the keyboard/mouse connections? I prefer the funky little plugs as they just work and dont need batteries and leave the USB free for other use.0 -
I am aware of the make HENCE I also asked for the model0

i now have the drivers but it seems to be taking AGES to install the fricking things....
my old and kinackered key board is looking more attractive by the minute....
the keyboard is an 'internet pro keyboard', and the mouse is black...maybe a M/N:M-UV96 (doesn't have a name other than Fred...)
i have four USB slots (2 on the top, and t in the back), and i prefer the plugy types as they clearly just do their thang, but the only keyboard that i have seen in shops recently are the cordless ones, and i just don't think that my old and terminally ill computer are up to that... so i accepted this one of my sister...

You can get a cheap keyboard and mouse in Argos with the plugy type of things. I had to replace mine in a hurry in the week when my loving daughter and her friends got the giggles at the pc and ended up washing both in orange squash, neither would work correctly after so a dash at 7.45pm and 8 quid later job was sorted.:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j
