Tracking downa web page

Last week I was trawling the Internet and I fell on to a page of in this case Northern Rock. Later in the day I needed to go back to a particular page to clarify something on that page, but could I find it NO. When you listen to people say they can track where you have been on the web and GOOGLE say they keep your information for 9 months, which I use and the latest version of I.E. is there a way I can find the web page I want ?
