help with MSN messenger 7.5 and windows firewall

i have just downloaded msn messenger 7.5 but it wont let me sign in as i have a firewall (windows firewall) i have windows XP. i have went into my firewall setting and ticked the box where it says msn messenger 7.5 for exceptions. but its still not letting me sign in. can anyone help??

It's a guess, but you could try restarting your computer and see if that does it.Torgwen..........
