damp patch

i noticed a damp smell in a fitted wardrobe and on closer inspection, there were three damp patches, one at ceiling level , one in the middle of the wall and one at the base of the wall, an inspection outside revealed a missing tile just above the gutter, the outside wall has been pebble dashed and painted, there is a minute crack (pin !!!!!!) in the paintwork that appears to co-incide with the damp patch in the middle of the wall, there doesnt appear to be anything wrong at the bottom of the outside wall. any idea if these are the causes of the damp? what are the remedies?

We have this problem but have checked the walls and roof and all is fine. It seems to be poor airflow resulting in condensation inside.
If anyone has any other suggestions then I would like to hear them too.0 -
I presume you have checked for a blocked gutter? It's that time of year.0

i have checked the gutter , it could do with cleaning out eventually , but it is not overflowing yet.
it seems it may well be condensation from bad circulation [we have emptied out the wardrobe and dried it out and all now appears to be fine]speed is good0 -
